The Bounce Back Loan Scheme
The Bounce Back Loan Scheme is a new scheme introduced by the Government to help smaller businesses impacted by coronavirus. Under this scheme a business can apply to borrow between £2,000 and £50,000 or up to 25% of the business’ turnover whichever is the lower. Click for more details.
Useful Tools Team working or socialising including calls, video and document sharing can be aided by free technology that’s available. Zoom and StarLeaf are particularly useful apps which can be downloaded. Google documents can also be a useful way of collaborating across and between organisations e.g. key documents. The icon is in the top right of the home google screen, characterised by a box of 9 dots. Click on this and pick ‘Google Drive’ and once in you can invite people to share. Please note that you require a google account first, to access this.
Bicycle Loan Scheme at Harwell - Update on safety measures for bicycle rental system at Harwell
- There is no interruption in service and the bikes remain available for loan across campus
- Bikes safety checks and distribution remain fortnightly and the mechanics will be sanitising the handlebars and bikes during inspections
- For extra precautions we urge folks to wear gloves and wash their hands before and after using the bikes
