We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and qualified individual as Project Manager for the UCL Advanced Materials Characterisation Team based in the Research Complex at Harwell (www.rc-harwell.ac.uk) in Oxfordshire. Working with Prof. Lee and the other academics, you will project manage a dynamic team of researchers and students from UCL, working on innovative and world leading projects, from imaging additive manufacturing to bio-medical applications. As part of the post, you will run the excitingly new UKRI funded ImagingBioPro Network (mecheng.ucl.ac.uk/imagingbiopro/), focussed on developing imaging technology that touches life. You will organise meetings, workshops, conferences and industrial engagement activities. The main projects you will manage are Prof. Lee’s RAEng Chair in the Emerging Techology of Additive Manufacturing and UCL’s activity in the £10m EPSRC MAPP Hub (www.mapp.ac.uk). You will actively engage in the development of new proposals, both for the group at Harwell, across the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and more broadly support UCL / Harwell Campus interactions.
