Our Technical Services Group is seeking a Technical Apprentice with electrical or mechanical bias. This is a fantastic opportunity for anybody looking for a challenging and rewarding career in a hands-on engineering environment.

Key criteria for the successful candidate
*To enable you to make a success of your apprenticeship, it is essential you have a good level of mathematical skills and English language. Therefore, we recommend all applicants have 5 GCSE’s with grade 5 or equivalent including Maths, English & Science.
*You love learning and take pride in what you do!
*You have keen interest in technology and like to know how things work
*You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and you are great in asking questions when directions are not clear
*You are not a stranger to Microsoft Office packages and feel comfortable using computers /tablets and the likes
*You are eligible to work in the UK and can provide documentation to support that
*You are able to commit to a Fixed Term Appointment of 4 years and cannot wait to start your career in SPACE!
Good to knows:
The role is a 4 year apprenticeship scheme.
The salary is staged as follows:
1st year £14,000 per annum + benefits
2nd year £16,500 per annum + benefits
3rd year £19,000 per annum + benefits
4th year £21,000 per annum + benefits
The first year will be spent mainly in Oxfordshire Advance Skills centre based in Culham where the highly experienced engineers will teach you the basic skills and you will learn with a group of likeminded people!
