Based in South Oxfordshire, Sue Palmer writes adventure stories for 8 to 12-year-olds.

Her May’s Moon Trilogy tells the story of 13 year old Michael May’s dream of becoming the first child astronaut.

At it's heart, it's a story about chasing dreams and what happens when those dreams start to become a reality.

Sue runs workshops for schools, festivals and bookshops, weaving the space research she carried out for her writing into her fictional stories.

Creating her May's Moon adventures has given Sue a real interest in past, current and future space exploration and she loves meeting astronauts.
